Observation deck at the Khor Virap monastery
The location is located on a rocky hill near the border, where the historical Khor Virap monastery of the 17th century is located. From the top of this hill there is a panoramic view of the endless expanses of the Ararat Plain and the nearby vineyards. Also, this hill is the closest point on the territory of Armenia, from where there is a direct view of the snow-capped silhouette of Mount Ararat, in short, an excellent place for pathetic photos against the backdrop of mountains from a hill, I strongly recommend not stopping by visiting the church itself and its observation deck, there is a small hill nearby, from where you have a 360-degree view of the entire area, you can see literally everything. Please do not come here in the summer heat of the day; it is better either in the morning or in the late afternoon.
